High-End Interior Designer in Palm Beach

French Interior Design, Creative Direction, and Bespoke Residential Interiors

Rita Chraibi is a French interior designer and creative director known for interiors shaped by proportion, craftsmanship, materiality, and a distinct sense of place.

For private residences in Palm Beach, her work begins with the home’s identity: its space, light, setting, rhythm, and how life unfolds within it. From waterfront properties and historic residences to newly built estates and significant residential transformations, each project is approached as a singular interior composition.

Having studied design in Paris, Rita considers space, furniture, lighting, art, bespoke millwork, and details together from the outset. The result is not a decorative layer applied to a residence, but a complete interior language developed specifically for it.

Her work spans Palm Beach and Miami to New York, Greenwich, Paris, and select international destinations.

Founded by Rita Chraibi, International Designers brings together conceptual interior design, creative direction, and French atelier craftsmanship. Through Maison Royale, her Paris atelier, Rita may complement each project with bespoke furniture, details, and custom millwork conceived specifically for the residence.

Rita Chraibi’s work has received international recognition, including Best Luxury Residence in the World and Best Interior Designer of the Year in the United Kingdom.

“The strength of every project lies in the passion, discipline, and respect invested in every detail.”

About Rita Chraibi

French Design Culture, Reinterpreted

Raised in a family deeply connected to real estate development and construction, Rita Chraibi developed an early understanding of the making of exceptional homes — from proportion and craftsmanship to materials, spatial rhythm, and the relationship between a residence and the life unfolding within it.

She later studied design in Paris, where that instinct developed into a rigorous approach to interior design and creative composition.

Today, Rita brings this French design culture to residences in Palm Beach and internationally. She leads the conceptual interior design and creative direction of each project, beginning with the identity of the home and developing an interior language specifically for it.

Her approach is both exacting and intuitive. The objective is never to reproduce a recognizable formula, but to understand what makes a residence singular and reveal that individuality through design.

Every decision is considered in relation to the whole, allowing the finished interior to feel coherent, personal, and entirely connected to the people who inhabit it.

Design Philosophy

The Art of Reimagining Interiors

For Rita Chraibi, the most compelling interiors begin with a clear creative vision.

Before considering individual pieces, she studies the residence’s identity: its proportions, its light, the relationship between rooms, and the atmosphere the home should ultimately convey.

From that understanding, a distinct interior language emerges.

Rather than imposing a recognizable formula from one project to another, Rita allows each residence to find its own expression. A Palm Beach estate may call for a completely different vocabulary from a Miami residence, a Greenwich estate, or a Parisian apartment, yet each is approached with the same rigor and attention to detail.

Her French approach is expressed not through a prescribed style, but through proportion, restraint, craftsmanship, materiality, and an appreciation for the dialogue between past and present.

Contemporary design may meet French decorative tradition. Bespoke millwork may coexist with collectible furniture, custom furnishings, art, and pieces conceived specifically for the residence. Light, materials, and objects are composed to feel inevitable rather than simply placed.

The result feels collected rather than decorated, refined without being predictable, and deeply personal while retaining a sense of permanence.

The intention is always the same: to create an interior that could belong nowhere else.

Selected Work

Selected Work

Wellington, Florida

A Grand Prix equestrian estate in Wellington, reimagined as a residence in the spirit of a French château: French proportion and detail in Palm Beach light.

Rita Chraibi designed both the interior and the facade. The house is extended from seven bedrooms to twelve junior suites as one cohesive vision, from the gate and forecourt through the round living salon, gallery, family rooms and kitchen.

A particularly personal project for Rita. Completion expected 2027.

Hallandale Beach

Interior design for a 40-storey glass tower on the Gold Coast, with panoramic views of the Atlantic, the Intracoastal and the beach.

Rita Chraibi developed the interiors around a dialogue between nature and the sensuality of womanhood, connecting indoor and outdoor living in a contemporary residence.

Rita Chraibi: « My interiors for 2000 Ocean tell a unique story of the reincarnation of Mother Nature through women’s sensuality. »

Palm Island, Miami Beach

A complete design transformation of a waterfront villa on Palm Island, oriented to Biscayne Bay and to the flow between indoor and outdoor living.

From the earliest stages, Rita developed a bespoke language for the house: architectural millwork, natural stone, custom furnishings and lighting, composed as one architectural vision.

The residence spans two floors, about 15,700 square feet, with eight bathrooms and three powder rooms.

International Recognition

Rita Chraibi’s work has received international recognition for its originality, refinement, and singular approach to residential interiors.

Her distinctions include Best Luxury Residence in the World in 2022 and Best Interior Designer of the Year in the United Kingdom in 2023, alongside recognition from the SBID International Design Awards, The International Design & Architecture Awards by Design et al, the Luxe RED Awards, the A’ Design Award & Competition, and the MUSE Design Awards.

These distinctions reflect a body of work defined not by a single aesthetic signature, but by the individuality, craftsmanship, and creative rigor brought to each project.

Bespoke Craftsmanship

Made for One House. Built for the Coast.

No two Rita Chraibi residences share a piece of furniture, a door handle or a stair rail.

Each element is drawn for the house it will live in. Through Maison Royale, her Paris atelier, Rita designs the millwork, libraries, kitchens, dressing rooms, staircases, furniture, lighting and stonework for every commission. Master cabinetmakers, stone carvers, metalworkers and upholsterers across Europe build them by hand.

Palm Beach asks more of these pieces than most places do.

Salt air pits bronze and swells timber. Winter sun bleaches fabric within a season. Loggias, pool pavilions and garden rooms sit half outside, half in. So the atelier chooses for the coast: teak and white oak that weather to silver, honed limestone and coquina that stay cool underfoot, marine-grade hardware, and finishes tested against humidity before they leave France.

The result looks French in its proportions and feels at home on the ocean side of South County Road.

Nothing is standardized.
Nothing is reproduced.
Every piece belongs to one house and one family.

A Design Approach

Design Begins Long Before Construction

Rita joins Palm Beach projects at the first sketch, before walls are fixed and long before a finish is chosen.

She works alongside the architect, the landscape designer, the lighting consultant and the craftsmen from the start. Together they set the plan, the ceiling heights and the openings, so the interior grows out of the building itself.

On the island, that early work shapes everything. Where the morning light falls on the breakfast room. How a hallway frames the ocean. Where shade lands on the loggia at four in the afternoon. How guests move from the motor court to the pool without crossing the kitchen.

Spatial planning.
Natural light.
Circulation.
Detailing.
Custom millwork.
Material transitions.
The line between house and garden.

Each one is decided as part of a single vision.

During construction Rita stays on site. She reviews mock-ups, refines the Maison Royale pieces as they are made, and checks every detail against the original drawings. The house that is handed over is the house that was designed.

The Studio

International Designers

Founded by Rita Chraibi, International Designers is a Paris-led residential interior design studio with a presence in Miami, New York, and internationally.

The studio is devoted to conceptual interior design and creative direction for exceptional private residences, significant renovations, waterfront homes, landmark estates, and complete residential transformations.

Rita leads the conceptual vision of each project, establishing an individual design language that responds to the residence, its setting, and the lives of its inhabitants.

The studio’s work is intentionally selective. Each project is approached as an individual creative proposition rather than the application of a predetermined house style, allowing the interior to develop with clarity, authenticity, and a sense of permanence.

Palm Beach commissions are run from the Miami studio, ninety minutes down the coast. The team knows the island’s review boards, its seasonal rhythm, and how a house here gets used: full in winter, closed and protected through hurricane season. Every project still answers to Rita.

Oceanfront and lakefront estates, full renovations of historic homes, new-build residences and equestrian properties. Some projects start with a bare lot; others start with a 1920s house that needs a complete rethink. Each one is designed from the architecture outward.

She starts with the building: its proportions, its light and how a family will move through it. She avoids a signature look, so each house reflects its site and its owners. French proportion, natural stone, handmade joinery and custom lighting give her interiors their character, and they are chosen to age well in coastal conditions.

Maison Royale is Rita’s Paris atelier for bespoke millwork, furniture, lighting and architectural detail. European cabinetmakers, stone carvers, metalworkers and upholsterers make each piece for one residence only. For Palm Beach homes, the atelier selects woods, stones and hardware that hold up to salt air, humidity and strong sun.
